I recorded this album over a period of about 6 months, from December 2015, to June 2016. I tried to marry folk with electronic music with this project, and while I dabbled in that direction with my last EP, I finally felt mixing them together came completely naturally.

I also tried working with other people a little bit more on this album, and while I wrote it all myself (bar the cover), I tried to include other musicians. Lyrically however, it remains very my own, and writing this has been quite cathartic.

This album is called Through The Dark, and that is what it is about - going through periods of dark and hopelessness, and seeing there is still hope and light left. It is not written from the perspective of looking back at the past necessarily, it is looking at the present, but knowing there is a way forward.

I have so so many people to thank for this record! I could not have done it without everyone, and I am immensely grateful! Also thank you for listening to it! I hope you enjoyed it!
